Robert W. Snyder, MD, PhD
Dr. Snyder is
a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained corneal surgeon
with a special interest and expertise in cataract and laser vision
correction surgery. He performs the most advanced techniques of "Custom
Cornea" surgery using the LASEK and LASIK procedures.
"I really
enjoy performing LASIK and LASEK surgery and seeing the joy and
excitement this brings to my patients," Dr. Snyder said. "I am a
perfectionist, and I enjoy doing things right and embrace the challenge
to continuously improve our techniques, reduce the risk to our patients,
and obtain the best results I possibly can. I feel blessed to be able to
perform eye surgery, and find the same enjoyment in performing
microsurgery now that I first experienced 21 years ago."
Dr. Snyder
provides volunteer services for the Lions and other organizations. For
his work, he has received numerous awards for the prevention of eye
diseases, including the Lions distinguished "Humanitarian of the Year"
